Fast Food Frenzy

Use the gift certificate included in the kit to purchase a meal from a popular Fast Food restaurant.

Students conduct qualitative tests for the major nutrients in any meal.  A scoring chart allows them to determine the “food value” of a meal most of them have surely tried.

Water bathes, alcohol burners or any other source of heat ARE NOT REQUIRED for these tests.  They can easily be performed in a wide variety of venues.

The kit contains materials for two classes of twenty-four students working in pairs.
